Ingredients

Lemon, Lime, Cinnamon Sticks, Rosemary, Cloves and Vanilla Bean 

Directions

Simply fill a large pot or saucepan with 6 cups of water and empty 1 potpourri bag.  Simmer on low throughout the day, as desired.  The steam will carry the beautiful scent out and into your home.  Add in more water if needed.

How Long does Stovetop Potpourri Last?

Personally, I have used the same batch of stovetop potpourri for 3-4 days.  After the first day, the stovetop potpourri may not look as beautiful as it did when you began simmering it, but the scent is still very nice.  After about 3-4 days, the potpourri will become mushy and it'll be time to discard. Simply drain the excess water and discard the fruit and herbs.
